SITE RULES
- First and foremost, HB is a very open and welcoming site, and we will gladly welcome anyone from all backgrounds, cultures, writing levels, and identities. All people are welcome here, and no forms of racism, sexism, harassment, bullying, bigotry will be tolerated. If you ever experience any problems with another member, please report them to staff and they will be taken care of.
- HB is a one account per member site, meaning you do not create a new account for every character you make. All characters you create are controlled through your one ooc account.
- We have a 150 word count for roleplay posts, but we are not super strict, especially if you have very low muse or are having difficulties.
- Powerplaying and godmoding are both strictly forbidden. Powerplaying is taking control of or taking forceful action against another character without said character's owner's permission. Godmoding is making your character immune to injury, immune to sickness, immortal, or completely "perfect" in any way.
- In terms of interactions, both in character and out, no member/no character will ever be forced to take part in something that the member doesn't want them to. If you are uncomfortable with a plot or a discussion, just say so and you do not have to partake. It is the same thing with any sensitive conversation topics or cussing or anything of the like. If you are asked to stop, you will be expected to stop.
- For now, the max amount of characters any one member can make is 10.
- This is a semi-realistic roleplay, meaning that there are no multi-colored pelts, wings, powers, etc. All character appearances must be realistic and use realistic cat pictures. Art may be included, but they must also have real pictures.
- If there are any large, site-wide or multiple-clan plots, they must be brought to a staff member and approved before they can be put into action.
- While we do not follow a set date-by-date calendar for in-game seasons and events, HB follows a general rule that any given season will last around 6 irl months. It is possible for a season to last a month longer in case there are events or circumstances that require it, but we will try to keep to 6 months.
- All roleplay posts must be made in 3rd person.
HR Rules
Due to the fact that high ranks are very important cats in the clans, we do have rules and requirements for those who wish to play any HRs.
High ranks consist of Leaders, Deputies, and Medicine Cats.
If you are interested in trying out for a High Rank, you can find all of the requirements and how to do so in the HR Guide found here: LinkRules
- Before anything else, we ask that you only step forward for an HR position if you intend to stay active and believe you can follow through with the requirements. If you step forward and take a high rank, but then don't perform the duties or go inactive, there is a chance that your character will lose that rank and be demoted.
- Every member is limited to play 2 high ranks total.
- Any given member is only allowed to play 1 of each of the two kinds of HRs, and if you have 2 they cannot be in the same clan. Meaning you could be a Leader/Deputy in one clan and a Medicine Cat/MCA in another, but you could not play a Leader/Deputy and Meddie in the same clan or play two of the same rank.
- Each high rank has their own duties, so if you are thinking about claiming one, read through their duties first.
- Because HB is a new site, if you want to claim a high rank, specifically a Leader or a Medicine Cat, please talk to staff first so that the character can be discussed and we can work out the details. [These two positions will be first come first serve]
